CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS FOR COFFEE MACHINES WITH FOAMER / MILK FOAMER

You can choose between three different cleaning cycles. Clean the machine with the desired variation as follows:

·        Cleaning of coffee part only

To clean the coffee part, follow points 7 and 8 (evtl. 13) of the instructions below and choose at point 7.

·        Cleaning of milk part only

To clean the milk part, follow points 1-7 and 9-13 of the instructions below and choose at point 7.

·        Cleaning of coffee and milk part simultaneously

To clean the coffee and milk part together follow points 1-13 of the instructions below and choose at point 7.

DAILY CLEANING AT THE END OF THE DAY

1.      Disconnect air tube at milk/air supply (A).   2.      Disconnect milk/foam tube and FT-feeler.   3.  Remove milk container (B) including milk / foam tube and FT-feeler. Clean these parts as follows: a.      Remove lid b.      Remove the bag with the rest of milk c.  Clean milk/foam tube and FT-feeler by hand

Attention: Milk container is hot. Take care.

 

     

        4. Push the button (D), turn the foam head (C) counterclockwise and pull it out

     

        5. Disassemble all the parts as per diagram below and clean them with lukewarm water. Use the brush (1) to                  clean all the holes and tubes. Clean the milk container with lukewarm water using a patch.

If you press the rinse key without adding a tablet the message "No tablet" press rinse key appears on display. Add a tablet and press rinse key.

Important: If "Add tablet" message does not appear, then cleaning of the coffee circuit has not been activated. Repeat point 7.

The automatic cleaning program starts and will last about 12 minutes. At the end of the cleaning process the message "Ready F" appears on the display.

9.      Remove and empty milk container. Fill in two litres of lukewarm water to flush the system.

10. Afterwards, press and keep depressed any milk key until the milk container is empty.

11. Remove the milk container and check, if it is empty. Check water in the heating tank. Reinsert milk container.

12. Press and keep depressed the minus key press at the same time any milk key to turn the Foamer off. «Foamer off» appears on display.

13. If desired, you may now turn off the coffee-machine pushing the red main switch.

DAILY START OPERATIONS

1.      Remove milk container and dry heating tank (Bain Marie).

Attention: Milk container is hot. Take care!

2.       Fill 0.7dl fresh water into the heating tank of the Foamer 2 respectively 0.5dl if you use a Foamer.

      3.  Put a new milk bag into the milk container and fill it with fresh milk.

Important: To ensure that your unit works properly, it is very important that you follow these instructions carefully.

1.  The milk container should always contain a minimal amount of milk except during the daily cleaning. Never allow the milk container to become completely empty.

1. If a message appears on display during operation, refer to the instruction at the end of the manual.

WEEKLY CLEANING

When you disassemble the parts for cleaning, remove valve screw (A). Remove spring with plate (B) and clean it carefully. Reassemble the milk foam tube. Ensure that the plate of the spring with plate (B) is on the top.

Finally, polish the exterior of your coffee machine with a damp soft cloth
