EGRO ONE MACHINE DAILY CLEANING

The machine is equipped to wash the delivery unit with a cleaning tablet and the Milk circuit with the cleaning solution.

The machine will begin a wash cycle of hot water deliveries alternated with pauses. The whole cycle takes approximately 10minutes.

At the end of 12 hours of operation - single cleaning is required, at the end of 24 hours of operation - double cleaning is needed.

To execute the washing procedure, you need to proceed with the instructions given below:

·       Ensure to check the incoming water while using a direct water connection or using bubble-top water to fill enough water.

1.      Start the Cleaning Process:

·       Press the Stop and Cleaning buttons twice. The display will show: Cleaning in Progress (Yes). 

2.      Select and Confirm Cleaning:

·       Select and press Key 1. The display will show: Empty Drawer.

3.      Clean and Empty the Drawer:

·       Clean and empty the drawer, then fix it back in place.

4.      Confirm Empty Drawer:

·       The display will show: Did You Empty the Drawer? YES

·       Select Key 1, and the display will show: Insert Tablet put the cleaning tablet in the tablet holder and Press the Stop/Clean Button.

5.      Start the Cleaning Process:

·       The cleaning process will start. The display will show: Remove Milk Container.

·       Fill the container with the cleaning solution.

6.      Remove Milk from the Milk Container:

·       Remove any leftover milk from the milk container.

7.      Prepare Cleaning Solution:

·       Add 500ml of water and 10-15ml of cleaning solution into the milk container. Insert the cleaning solution into the milk tube.

·       The cleaning process will run in reverse, with hot water coming into the container.

8.      Press Stop to Begin Milk Cleaning:

·       Press the Stop button to initiate the milk container cleaning process. The display will show: Milk Cleaning in Progress.

·       After the process is complete, the display will prompt you to Fill the Container with Fresh Water.

9.      Fill Fresh Water:

·       Fill the milk container with fresh water and press the Stop button to finish.

10. Complete Cleaning:

·       After the process is 100% complete, the cleaning process will be marked as finished.

11. Final Clean-Up:

·       Clean the front coffee spout, and milk spout, and drip the cleanest water possible. This ensures that there are no unwanted tastes or odors that could affect the flavor of your coffee.

DO'S and DON’Ts for Egro one coffee machine cleaning process 

DO’s:

1.      Use only RO or Portable Water. Ensure the incoming direct water or the water tank is filled with enough water.

2.      End-of-the-day cleaning with a tablet/ Solution is mandatory for good performance of the Machine and get the perfect quality of the products.

3.      Clean the drip tray and waste container daily: Empty the drip tray and waste container regularly to prevent any blockages and ensure proper drainage.

4.      Clean the milk system daily: The Egro One has an automatic milk frothing system. It's essential to clean the milk components (like the milk frothing tube and containers) daily to avoid the buildup of milk residue, which can lead to bacterial growth.

5.      Clean the coffee grounds container and coffee spouts regularly: Empty and clean the coffee grounds container and clean the coffee spouts to ensure the coffee dispenses smoothly.

6.      Coffee beans pocket once opened must be used within 2-3 days.

7.      Keep the cleaning tablet /solution away from the foodstuffs/raw materials.

8.      Keep the machine and its surroundings to keep the rodents and cockroaches away.

DON’Ts:

1.      Don’t ignore the milk system cleaning: Milk can quickly spoil and cause bacterial contamination. Do not skip daily cleaning of the milk frothing system, as it can lead to unpleasant odors, poor froth quality, or machine malfunction.

2.      Don’t use tap water without filtering: Always avoid using untreated tap water unless your area has very soft water. Hard water can lead to scale build-up inside the machine, shortening its lifespan and degrading performance.

3.      Do not operate the machine without water.

4.    Don’t Wash the machine’s electrical parts in water: Do not immerse any part of the machine (especially the electrical components like the display screen, control panel, or the brew unit) in water.

5.    Don’t leave leftover coffee grounds in the machine: Leftover grounds can cause clogs and interfere with the brewing process. Always ensure the ground container is emptied regularly.

6.   Don’t disassemble internal parts without training: Avoid disassembling internal components or attempting repairs unless you're properly trained, as this could void your warranty or damage sensitive parts.

7.   Don’t forget to shut down the machine properly: Always shut down the machine once the cleaning process is completed, if interrupted the machine will start the cleaning when Switched ON. This ensures the machine is safely powered off and allows for necessary cleaning cycles to run.
